BAMBERG, S.C. – Police arrested a 22-year-old Bamberg man for allegedly refusing to leave a Walker Street residence after he told officers he had a “ghost in him.”
The complainant told officers from the Bamberg Police Department he had asked the man to leave six times with no results. The police report stated the man and the woman who lived at the incident location said they both feared for their safety.
When officers arrived on the scene at around 3:40 a.m. on Dec. 4, they found the subject outside the home in 35 degree weather “with no shoes, and jogging pants around his ankles” the report said. The man admitted he had been asked to leave the property.
